What Nelstack is
Nelstack is an informational website — not a bank, broker, jeweller or tax filing service. We do not sell metals, open deposits, execute trades or file returns on your behalf. Every rate and calculator result is for planning and education only.
How we source metal rates
Gold, silver and platinum pages show indicative retail reference rates ingested from major jeweller-chain and trade sources. We do not display the official India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) published feed directly.
Domestic prices track international spot metal (quoted in US dollars), converted at the prevailing USD/INR rate, plus import duty and local market conditions. Your local jeweller may quote differently after making charges, wastage, GST and store-specific margins.
Each rate page shows an Updated timestamp and a freshness notice when our backend has not received new data recently. Metal editorial content was last reviewed 18 June 2026.
How our calculators work
Finance calculators use standard Indian conventions documented on each page — for example quarterly compounding on bank FDs, PPF financial-year crediting, FY 2025-26 income-tax slabs, and TDS thresholds updated from April 2025 for Section 194A.
Calculator pages include formulas, worked examples, comparison tables and FAQs. Each tool shows a Last updated note where tax rules or thresholds may change. Outputs are illustrative: your bank, fund house or employer may use slightly different rounding or policies.

Editorial standards
Internal team (Content & calculator accuracy review) at Nelstack reviews metal-rate copy and calculator explanations when primary rules change. We aim for accuracy and transparency. When RBI, CBDT or budget announcements change slabs or thresholds, we update calculator logic and on-page copy together. If you spot an error, treat the official government or institution source as authoritative.
Metal and tax content is written for a general India audience in English (en-IN). It is not personalised advice for your specific situation.
Technology & AI
We use AI-assisted tools in our engineering workflow to design, build and maintain Nelstack. That helps us ship updates faster; it does not mean your calculator results or metal rates are produced by a chatbot when you click Calculate.
Calculator outputs come from defined formulas and code documented on each page. Metal rates come from our ingestion pipeline and cached reference data. Editorial copy is reviewed against primary Indian sources — see Editorial standards above.
For AI assistants and search tools, we publish a machine-readable site guide at /llms.txt (full URL list: /llms-full.txt).
